49th Anniversary of the Municipality of San Luis
The Municipality of San Luis, Aurora Province is celebrating it’s 49th Foundation Anniversary with the theme “Maka-Diyos at Makataong Paglilingkod sa Kumikilos na Sambayanan, Susi sa Patuloy na Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran.
The Guest of Honor during the main celebration program on August 24 is the Honorable Emilio B. Abelita III, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Education. Other guests and visitors will also grace the occassion.
Here is the list of the activities for the three-day celebration:
August 23, 2008 (Saturday)
6:00 AM-Cycling (c/o Knights of Columbus, District I-41)
8:00 AM-Motorcade (Bb. San Luis Candidates)
3:00 PM-Final Judging (Street Décor)
7:00 PM-Search for Bb. San Luis 2008
August 24, 2008 (Sunday)
4:00 AM -Diana (Phil Army Band)
7:00 AM -Arrival Honor
8:00 AM -Mass (Liwasan Bayan)
9:00 AM -Parade
10:00 AM-Anniversary Program
12:00 PM-Lunch
1:00 PM -Drum and Lyre Competition
7:00 PM -Sayawang Bayan
August 25, 2008 (Monday)
4:00 AM-Diana (Drum & Lyre Champion)
6:00 AM-Procession(Patron San Luis Na Hari) Phil Army Band
8:00 AM -Church Mass
6:00 PM -Cultural Show

Tho’ I wasn’t born and lived in Baler or San Luis, really proud to be a part of these beautiful places. All the Leanders there are my relatives. I now live in Delano, CA but again will very happy to be back in Aurora next year. Ikaw ba yon Paz sa right hand side ng website na ito? Take care my dear people of Aurora

Costumes are really nice! Nice concepts, excellent taste of urban fashion..Were these gowns made of sabutan? Wow! I want to see those.. Hope to have an oppotunity to see one. I will make sure that i can get more info about these costumes.
Probably, I’ll catch Ramil Chan to discuss these with me.

Bakit walang taga Nonong na nag participate, sayang and dami pa namang magaganda dyan sa Nonong, regards to Nortez Family, Avedano family, Porbido Family and of course to my very own Romano Family, Even though that im no longer staying at Nonong, my heart were always there, i really mis everything, all the happiest moment since in my childhood, Mabuhay kayo!!!!!!!!!!!
