San Luis District Meet 2008

The Municipality of San Luis held its annual District Athletic Meet last October 2-4, 2008 at San Luis Central School, San Luis, Aurora. For this year’s athletic meet, the theme is “Palaro: Maka-Diyos at Makabuluhang Paghubog Tungo sa Matagumpay na Pagkakaisa”. Barangay officials, school heads, teachers and players joined the parade during the opening ceremony.

Guests include Schools Division Supervisor Gereno Antonio, Vice-Governor Gerardo Noveras, Board Member Mariano C. Tangson, Sangguniang Bayan Member Francisco Maliwanag and Municipal Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson.

Like previous athletic meet, this year is successful with all public and private schools participating in the said event. This year, Unit II comprised of Ditumabo Elementary School and Diteki Elementary School was declared overall 1st Placer for elementary level while San Luis National High School for secondary level. THIRD PLACE – Unit III (Nonong Sr. Elementary School, Real Elementary School, L. Pimentel Elementary School, Multi-Grade School, Hacienda Multi-Grade School)
FOURTH PLACE – Unit IV (Dikapinisan Elementary School, Dibut Elementary School, Diotorin Elementary School, Dimanayat Elementary School, R. Tangson Multi-Grade School)
FIFTH PLACE – Unit V (San Isidro Elementary School, Bacong Elementary School)
BEST ATHLETE Boy - Karch Marillo (Unit I), Girl - Maricris Lazona (Unit IV)

SECONDARY LEVEL
FIRST PLACE – San Luis National High School

SECOND PLACE – Dikapinisan National High School
THIRD PLACE – Mount Carmel High School
FOURTH PLACE – Ditumabo National High School
