San Luis LGU Family Day 2008

On September 30 and in line with the Celebration of the Civil Service Month, the Municipality of San Luis held a Family Day Celebration at the San Luis Mini-Hydro Plant at Brgy. Ditumabo. The whole day of fun, games and group presentations is a yearly event organized by the San Luis Employee’s Association (SLEMEA) and spearheaded by Mayor Annabelle Tangson. It gave the employees an opportunity to temporarily break out of their daily office routines and have time to relax, have fun and bond with each other.

This year, the event started with a thanksgiving mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Alex Sorongon. After the mass, the whole-day of fun and merrymaking started with the employees of all the twelve (12) LGU offices and the PNP participating. There were parlor games as well as presentations from the different offices of the municipality. At the end of the day, MSWDO was declared as the champion, the Municipal Treasurer’s Office, 2nd place, and the Municipal Health Office in third place.
