San Luis Sagip-Paningin Program

MORE THAN 400 PATIENTS from different barangays benefit from the SAGIP-PANINGIN PROGRAM of the municipality of San Luis. SAGIP-PANINGIN is a local health program initiated by Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson aiming to help the people of San Luis with visual impairment. The said program includes checking and evaluating patient’s visual acuity as well as distribution of free reading glasses and special eye glasses.

Last October, Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson together with the municipality’s consultant optometrist Dra. Cora Teh distributed eye glasses in the different barangays. During the program, Mayor Tangson consistently expressed her continuous support and commitment in this eye care program. Also present during the distribution are Sangguniang Bayan Members Jason G. Martinez and Norminda S. Querijero as well as Municipal Health Officer Dra. Pura D. Valenzuela-Uy.
