2008 State of the Children Address

Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson delivered the Municipal Children’s Report for FY 2008 last December 8, 2008 held at the Covered Court, Barangay 02, San Luis, Aurora. The said activity was fully supported by the members of the Council for the Protection of Children and witnessed by elementary school heads, parents, selected elementary and high school students, day care children, and day care workers.

The said report aimed to created awareness among children, parents and service providers on issues, threats and challenges confronting our children. Mayor Tangson also discussed in the report the progress and services being provided by the municipality of San Luis and other agencies in promoting “Child Rights” towards a “Child-Friendly Municipality”.

Also present during the occasion were District Supervisor Consolacion R. Mercado, Vice-Mayor Teddy A. Macatiag, Sangguniang Bayan Members Francisco Maliwanag, Jayson G. Martinez, Norminda S. Querijero and Sangguniang Kabataan Federation President Jennifer Marie Yngente.
