Search for 50 Outstanding Citizens of San Luis
In part of the 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration, the Municipality is in search of the 50 Outstanding Citizens for their contributions, leadership, vision and for their volunteer service to the community. The nominee must be a citizen of or work for a business or organization with in or outside the municipality. Nominations may be submitted by individuals, organizations or barangay councils and there is no limit to the number of nominations one can submit.
Nominees will be evaluated based on the evidence and support presented in the nomination as to the nature and scope of the accomplishments, and on the committee’s own knowledge of the nominee’s qualifications. Primary emphasis will be given to a good “story” of community involvement. Read the rest of this entry »

New Ambulance Donated to San Luis

Fertilizer and Cash Loan Distribution
Through the initiative of Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson, the LGU San Luis provided fertilizer and cash loan to 37 members of Hacienda Pineapple Group (HPG) at Sitio Hacienda, Barangay Nonong Sr. amounting to P 250,130.00.

MAO Rat Campaign Operation
The Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of San Luis headed by Ms. Maria Paz S. Leander organized a massive rat campaign operation conducted through the Barangay Rat Patrol Team. A total of 7 rice producing barangay with 165 farmers’ participated and 261 rats were killed through the use of flame thrower, hand tractor and individual sticks. Read the rest of this entry »

Tissue Cultured Banana Distribution
As part of high value commercial crop program of the Municipality of San Luis, Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson distributed tissue cultured lacatan (banana) to farmer cooperative of Barangay L.Pimentel and Nonong Sr. The said program aims to plant disease-free banana with high commercial value.
