Search for 50 Outstanding Citizens of San Luis
In part of the 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration, the Municipality is in search of the 50 Outstanding Citizens for their contributions, leadership, vision and for their volunteer service to the community. The nominee must be a citizen of or work for a business or organization with in or outside the municipality. Nominations may be submitted by individuals, organizations or barangay councils and there is no limit to the number of nominations one can submit.
Nominees will be evaluated based on the evidence and support presented in the nomination as to the nature and scope of the accomplishments, and on the committee’s own knowledge of the nominee’s qualifications. Primary emphasis will be given to a good “story” of community involvement. Consideration will also be given to business and professional/ non-professional achievements through years including leadership, stability and growth. The basis for the award may be granted for outstanding service in singular or multiple fields. Volunteer service and community/ religious involvement would also be of importance. Deadline of submission of nomination would be on or before April 15, 2009. The awarding would be during the San Luis 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration on August 24, 2009.
