ALS Training Workshop Held in Baguio

For the second succeeding year, a Training Workshop was held for Instructional Managers, Facilitators and Aralang Lingap sa San Luis implementers through the initiative of our very energetic and supportive mayor Hon. Annabelle C. Tangson in coordination with the Department of Education, ALS Division, Region 3 and San Luis District. Held at Brentwood Apartelle, Baguio last May 21-23, 2009, the said training aims to motivate and improve the methods of teaching of instructional managers of Aralang Lingap sa San Luis (ALS).

The participants of the said training were mostly municipal department heads and employees who are graduates of a Bachelors degree. Trainors include Mr. Reynaldo F. Licay (ALS Regional Coordinator – Region 3), Mrs. Consolacion R. Mercado (San Luis District Supervisor), Mrs. Ayleen Salazar (ALS Mobile Teacher), Mr. Rodelio Ruiz (ALS Mobile Teacher – Baler) and Mr. Michael Bernardo (District ALS Coordinator) with the active participation of Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson. The Strategic Plan for Aralang Lingap sa San Luis SY 2009 – 2010 is one of the event’s important output.
