San Luis Fiesta ‘09 Day 2: Street Dance Competition

SLNHS and SIES became both the grand champion of the Street Dancing Competition.

The Street Dancing Competition is the highlight of the Sabutan Festival in celebration of the 50th Founding Anniversary and Patronal Town Fiesta of San Luis, Aurora. San Luis National High School street dancers won P20,000.00 cash prize for becoming the champion in the Street Dancing Competition secondary level aside from also bagging the Best in Costume.

In the elementary level, San Isidro Elementary School emerged as champion among seven competing schools and also went home with P20,000.00 cash prize. They also grabbed the Best in Costume for elementary level.
Following San Luis National High School were Ditumabo National High School and Mount Carmel High School, as second and third placers, respectively. Tailing behind San Isidro ES were Diteki Elementary School and San Luis Central School as second and third placers, respectively. The second placers won P15,000 in cash prize while the third placers won P10,000.00.

The panel of judges includes Assistant Schools Division Supervisor Ms. Rhoda Razon, Mr. Ferdinand Romano, Ms. Charlotte Madarang and Lt. Vladimir M. Ngao-I from Philippine Army. For this year, Mr. Rosel Dadero was the Chairman for the Street Dancing Competition.
