San Luis Teacher’s Day Celebration
AS PART OF THE Teacher’s Month, the Municipality of San Luis held its Teacher’s Day Celebration last October 5, 2009 at the San Luis Sports Complex. A Thanksgiving Mass was held with Father Nilvon Co Villanueva as the main celebrant. Schools Division Superintendent Gereno Antonio and Assistant Division Superintendent Rhoda Razon as guests of honor and both gave inspiring messages.
Each of the participating schools has given their intermission number. There were also parlor games participated by both school heads and teachers.
Teacher’s Day o Araw ng mga Guro is being celebrated annually in our country to give honor to more than 500,000 teachers nationwide based on the Presidential Proclamation No. 479.
The Teacher’s Day Celebration was organized by school heads and teachers of the municipality led by District
Supervisor Consolacion R. Mercado together with Mayor Annabelle C. Tangson.
Thanks to all the teachers around the world who help to educate and form good men and women in our societies.
